Last Friday was such a fun, emotional, joyful & beautiful day of celebration! When Lauren reached out to me months ago asking if I would capture her and Arthur’s 10 year vow renewal I was so excited & honored! They decided to book the Iowa Tap Room in Downtown Des Moines for their ceremony & reception -the vibe was so incredibly warm & elegant. From the mini tea lights, to the gorgeous wood beams & amazing ceremony arch…it was simply beautiful. -take a look!

Jenna (from Events By Jenna) was the coordinator of the evening and she did an amazing job with the decorations & flow of the evening. Each table had a beautiful custom napkin with treats, table numbers with an Iowa Tap Room bottle & picture of Lauren & Arthur. To the right of the room was the Roeding family table where Lauren, Arthur and their three daughters sat for dinner and had the most amazing Mr. & Mrs. light sign!

Now for the ceremony…to say there were a lot of emotions would be an understatement. Both Lauren & Arthur wrote their own vows & as Arthur was reading his there wasn’t a dry eye in the room. Something that made it even more special was seeing their three daughters gathered close to them -just watching their mom and dad with all of the love in their eyes.

After the ceremony & after everyone enjoyed a delicious dinner it was TIME TO CELEBRATE! Both Lauren & Arthur decided to have their family & close friends attend and believe me when I say each and every person who attended loved their family so much! That really became known during the dancing, mingling, selfies, & impromptu picture taking! Everyone was in full celebration mode for the rest of the evening and I am so happy to have captured it alongside my friend Courtney! Here are some of my favorite images from the evening:
