I had the honor of helping photograph the most BEAUTIFUL wedding last weekend! The entire day couldn’t have gone any better from the weather, the incredible venue, to the thoughtful details of the decor. It is hard to put into words just how beautiful everything was so I will show you…
Alicia & Con chose Bailey Farms Barn & Venue for their venue in New Virginia, Iowa. Everything about the location couldn’t have been more perfect. It sits on the most beautiful farm surrounded by corn fields. It has two houses that have the most rustic yet modern feel—one house was for the bride and bridesmaids and the other for the groom and groomsmen. The venue itself is this large white tent with a charming rustic truck sitting at its side. Take a look!
The LOVE these two families have for each other was so wonderful to see. I learned that Con is one of eight siblings! All of his sisters and brothers were included in the bridal party and they spoke of and treated Alicia like she has always been part of their family—it was truly so special to witness.
Before the ceremony Alicia & Con wanted to take a moment to pray together as well as do a first look with her Dad. If you ask me, one of the most special ways you can honor the Lord is bringing your new marriage to Him and praying His blessing over it. It was such a sweet & touching moment.
While it rained for the majority of the morning (—can we say good luck!) the sun decided to shine EXACTLY when the ceremony started. They met down the aisle in front of the most beautiful wooden arch that was located in front of a small pond and big beautiful willow trees located on the property. Seeing Con’s face when he first laid eyes on his new Bride is a moment I will never forget.
Before finishing the night with celebration & dancing we had Alicia & Con take some golden hour photos at the corn field when the sun was PERFECTLY setting in the distance. IT WAS BREATHTAKING!
Alicia & Con…thank you so much for allowing me to witness and help capture your special day. You two are the perfect example of a couple who loves each other, loves the Lord & has the most incredible support from loving families. I pray your marriage always flourishes and you two always glorify Him in all you do.
